About Me

I currently work in IT. I love technology, and especially programming it to do useful things that improve the quality of life for everyone.

I have been programming since I was seven years old and fondly remember the days of the TRS-80, Tandy 1000, Tandy 2000, and so on -- though there is room in my heart for my Android phone and Xubuntu, too! Through the years, I have taught myself to use BASIC (GW-BASIC and QBasic), Pascal, C, C++, Javascript, Objective C, PHP, Python, and x86 Assembler; as well as HTML and CSS.

I have also:

  • Taught students in grades 3 through 6 to keyboard and the basics of computer and Internet usage. By the end of nine weeks, the kids could type an average of nine words per minute without looking at the keyboard.
  • Engaged in more traditional writing.

Now I am in the process of writing my own language and eventually a game engine!

This site is where I write articles to showcase the code I've developed, or which I am in the process of developing. Hopefully, it can serve as a resource to those with their own coding ambitions, even as other sites have been useful to me throughout the years.

If you have a comment or request, please feel to contact me. I do not promise to respond to every e-mail I receive, but I will certainly consider the ones that have merit and reply if moved to do so.
